2017: where I’ve been and exciting news

I’m embarrassed. It seems I’ve neglected you!

….I’m really sorry.

It’s been a wild and crazy month. A few highlights:

  1. We got a dog! He’s the greatest! One day, I will tell the long and rollercoaster-y tale (tail 🙂 ) of how the handsome, energetic, snugglybear pictured above came into our lives. His name is Wrigley Glabman and he is 2 years old and I love him so much already.
  2. Christmas and Hanukkah happened! The big lesson we learned this year is that simple is best. Next year, we’re cutting our menu in half and doubling our togetherness time. See pictures of our holidays below!
  3.  We went sailing with my parents! We had windier winds than any Majewski had ever tackled on a sailboat, but our little crew rose to the occasion and sailed bravely. We also drank a fair amount of wine and played boatloads (ha!) of Rummikub, my new favorite game. ❤
  4. I read a ton of awesome books: You’ll Grow Out of It by Jessi Klein, Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo by Amy Schumer, and How to Speak Dog by Stanley Coren.  I’d highly recommend all of them!

and finally back in Nashville with the baby!

the big news!

Probably the biggest news pertaining to you is, I’m moving (websites). I’ve loved maintaining this site and sharing recipes with significantly more people than I ever thought would read my site. However, as focused as I will always be on eating healthy and living a fit lifestyle, there is so much else I want to write about as well. The new site will be a personal website, where I’ll share recipes and wellness tips, but also other aspects of my creative and spiritual self: from home decor and organization to anxiety and happiness. MajaCooks.com will remain live, and I will try my best to keep things organized so you can always access all your favorite recipes.

THANK YOU everyone who has supported, shared, followed, and provided feedback on this project. It’s been a fun year of learning and growing! More to come. ❤

PS — Until the site is built, follow me on Instagram! @majamajew 🙂
